Do I need to buy a ticket in advance to visit the museum?
It is currently not necessary to reserve a visit to the museum in advance. You can also buy a ticket at the museum ticket counter upon arrival.
What do I do with a pre-purchased ticket?
You can present your ticket at the museum's ticket counter. The entire group with the same ticket should arrive together. We recommend you print your ticket or download it on your device at home, as some of our museums receive a poor internet connection.
What do I do if I have a Museum Card or a cultural employee benefit from my employer?
Currently, there is no need to reserve a visit in advance, so you can just show up with a Museum Card. However, please remember to show your Museum Card at the ticket counter when you arrive. You can pay with your cultural benefit at the museum. We accept ePassi, Edenred and Smartum.
Does my child need a ticket?
All children aged 7 and over need a paid admission ticket when entering the museum. Museum admission for children under 7 is free, but as they are still counted as visitors, please remember to tell the ticket counter how many children are in your group when you arrive.
For children’s events or workshops, even children under 7 may require a paid ticket. Always check the details of the ticket you are purchasing.
Do you refund tickets if I cannot attend or if part of my group cannot attend?
Unfortunately, admission and event tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
How quickly do you dispatch the products ordered?
Admission and event tickets are sent to your email immediately after purchase from our online shop.
We’ll start processing and packing your order as soon as possible, at latest within 5 business days. You will receive a message when your order has been handed over for shipping. The shipping time is usually 2-5 business days.
How can I return the products I ordered?

Please note that admission or event tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.
Can I modify or cancel my order before it is shipped?
Unfortunately, orders cannot be modified. If your order only contains tangible museum shop products with the right of cancellation and you wish to cancel it before it has shipped, please contact us by email at museokeskus@turku.fi.
