Flow, My Tears – Jubilee Concert, 400 Years Since the Death of John Dowland on Sunday 22.11. at 14 at Turku Castle’s Queen’s Hall
Now is the time to celebrate the music of John Dowland, the English master of melody and melancholy! This year is the 400th anniversary of Dowland’s (c. 1563–1626) death. Turku Early Music Society’s singers and instrumentalists will perform a selection of Dowland’s finest works.
We will hear several of Dowland’s lovely solo songs with lute accompaniment, skillful harmonies of vocal groups as well as colourful music for strings and recorders. Central to the concert will be Dowland’s most famous tune, Flow My Tears, which will be included in many guises: lute solo, song and instrumental consort.

There are 123 seats for sale. Tickets can be bought online until November 22nd 12 PM. After this possible remaining tickets can be bought from Turku Castle ticket counter.

Access to the Queen’s Hall is not fully accessible. The hall is located in the main castle and is primarily reached via stairs.
